County Attorney
Delia Garza
is a champion for justice, workers, and communities of color – first as a firefighter, then attorney, then Austin Mayor Pro Tem, and now County Attorney. She has spent her career challenging the status quo and leveling the playing field for all families.
Delia comes from a very civically engaged family. Her parents–a firefighter and a stay-at-home mom–were actively involved in their community and encouraged their three daughters to participate in their community and pursue higher education. This upbringing inspired her to dedicate her career to public service and advocate for working families.
